SOULpreneurs Circle for Introverts and HSPs
Business Coaching Group for Aligning Your Energy, Heart, & Income
This is a nourishing group for self-employed coaches, consultants, and wellness professionals who might be feeling drained, unclear, or lonely in their business.
This group is rooted in an approach to business that is designed around the strengths, interests, and needs of introverts and highly sensitive people (HSPs).
This is not another go-go-go (hustle) business group. For one thing, we start with breathing room as a foundation. And we still take our businesses seriously.
In every group meeting, you’ll gain restorative energy, clarity, and camaraderie so you can more easily bring your gifts to the world.
Less worry. Less effort. More impact.
Sensitive souls have superpowers for business and we'll tap those together.
Hi, I’m Val. I bring over 15 years of being sustainably self-employed as a business/career coach, using a heart-centered approach to business and marketing.
I originally thought self-employment couldn’t work for me as an introvert and HSP. But my craving for freedom nudged me along.
To my surprise and delight, I discovered that I could drop the icky “shoulds” and do things in alignment with my nature and it worked better that way!
I’ve made it work for both my wallet and my energy needs as an introvert and highly sensitive person (HSP). I’ve also discovered how to adjust with the changing market and my changing needs, so that my business has stayed strong and aligned along the way.
Two key things have been essential: letting in aligned support including business groups, and (imperfectly) letting go of perfection.
I love helping you find the methods, resources, and connections that will align for you.
One thing has stayed consistent. I’ve led groups as a core part of my work because I see how life-changing a well-led group can be for supporting clarity, confidence, and momentum.

Members come in with similar kinds of challenges:
- Loving the client part but feeling yucky about marketing.
- Wondering what’s the right thing to focus on now.
- Wondering how to have a balanced life at the same time as earning enough.
- Hating those frustrating technology moments without knowing who to turn to.
- Wanting to be sure you’re attracting clients you’re most able to help, without burning out, and yet sometimes unsure about your best niche.
- Wishing you had more clarity and confidence with how you talk about your work, the prices, and your new ideas.
We address all of that and more.
When I sought out coaching, it was because I was trying to find my way back to myself and my true passion; I had no idea how quickly it would put me on the right track. I feel as though I was divinely led here!
I had been in business for 5 years and was feeling really stuck, burned out, and very alone in my work. I knew I needed to make a change, but I didn’t know how to do it, partly because the voice of my inner critic was strong and kept winning out.
Finding Val and the SOULpreneurs group was like finding something I didn’t even know I needed. With the group, my inner critic voice is kept at bay. The support and motivation I get from the group inspire and drive me to be true to myself—in the most heartening way possible.
With Val’s encouragement, I’ve finally begun launching workshops, something I’d been wanting to do for years, and I’ve become more comfortable with being more visible online. I also now have a more focused direction on how to update my website—how to more clearly state what I do. All of these have led to greater joy and contentment in my day-to-day life and a more positive work-life balance.“

Before joining Val’s group, I had been trying to go it alone, with a lot of pressure and force. Now this web of support, that’s built in, is so so incredibly helpful.
Val has made what has felt so hard for me in the past – things like business content creation and visibility – feel so much easier and enjoyable.
I feel like Val keeps a candle lit for me and my dreams. I feel so held even outside our meetings.”

Is this for you? Let's see about the fit:
It’s likely a fit if you relate to all of these:
- You’re in business, which means you have had at least one paying client in your current business. (I have other options if you’re not there yet.)
- You want a meaningful and authentic approach to your work, including marketing. You’re done with ick and heaviness.
- You sense that being with a community of kindred spirits would support your best thinking and flow.
- You’re able to get things done, at your own pace, when you know what to do.
- You resonate with being a sensitive soul or having a big heart. You lean towards introversion and/or high sensitivity.
- You embrace diversity and inclusion of all kinds and are committed to treating each other with respect and humility when you don’t understand someone else’s views or lived experience.
- You’re a woman, or you would feel at home in a women-centered space.
If you relate to all of those, I’d love to hear from you so we can discuss and decide together. Here’s how to start:

Joining Val’s SOULpreneurs group was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my career. She taught me how to follow what I love in a methodical way that doesn’t overwhelm, yet moves me forward. She comes up with some truly unique ideas on creating momentum.
The group dynamic is a safe space to share wins, fails, and to get feedback on ideas…. Truly motivating, calming and grounded.”
~ Cindy Stabile, solopreneur, introvert
The guidance and support I have received in Val’s group has been essential to my success. I’ve enjoyed the expansive dialogue with peers that I have needed to work through my challenges (and celebrations!). And even better … it is grounded in Val’s gentle guidance on how to navigate the journey of business building and sustainability, using an easy-to-follow map that breaks things down in a way that makes so much sense! The whole experience helps me feel at ease and has helped me thrive in my business!!

This is a cohort program in which people start together in January and commit to each other for the calendar year. This gives you the best possible outcome and room to get things done with support on board.
The year-long cohort model is powerfully supportive, with everyone getting stronger each month together. It has an exponentially positive effect.
We would have a free initial conversation to make sure it’s a good fit before we both decide.
I have tried to keep the prices low enough to make it accessible. However, if you’re feeling nervous about investing in this kind of support at your current earning status, these things might help:
- I believe the investment will pay off when you get one new client, which could come to you sooner and easier than before.
- I also believe earning will flow better when you are feeling less constricted inside and more confident in your business offerings.
- We can chat about it in a free call (apply here). No pressure to sign up.
- If you are feeling drawn to having some kind of support in your self-employment journey, ask yourself what are you most wanting. Then see what your heart thinks might match up to that.
When NOT to invest in this:
If you’re looking for a quick fix for big financial struggles, like covering basic living expenses or digging out of debt, this is not the right next thing. I empathize for sure, but growing a viable business takes time, focus and investment, and it’s not a fast path.

Sliding scale options?
I have two reduced cost spots for those who are Black and/or Indigenous in North America, as a step towards reparations. (It’s not charity. It’s in solidarity.)
My budget-friendly courses with live group support are also available.
I welcome questions via the contact form below.
If you answered yes to all the questions in the “Is this for you?” checklist on this page, it’s likely a fit, but we will chat about it in a free call and decide together.
Members are at various stages and have various amounts of time to devote to their explorations and growth. There are two subgroups so you’ll be with your peers and get the support that best matches for you. One is for earlier stages and one group for after already seeing paying clients.
There’s no judgment on your stage or pace. You won’t be the only one feeling experienced in one area and new in another area. (See next question about various stages.)
Everyone has something valuable to offer, from listening and relating, to sharing ideas (if asked for).
My groups are usually all women who are introverted and/or highly sensitive. They care about balancing their energy needs and their desire to contribute in meaningful ways.
I offer two groups and I’ll make sure you’re in the right fit group for your stage.
The SOULpreneurs is for those already seeing paying clients.
The Sensitive on Purpose group is for those in a transition phase, moving towards their purpose-driven work.
I’ll make sure you’re in the right group to fit your needs.
More advanced stages?
If your business is already fairly steady and you’re looking for camaraderie with like-minded solopreneurs, the SOULpreneurs group works well for you and already includes some experienced solopreneurs. The topics we cover can help you optimize a good business and increase your sense of balance and calm.
We walk through some key topics together, and you can bring whatever topics or challenges are most current for you. The specific topics are influenced by what is coming up among the members. Here are the kinds of topics we discuss:
- Why, when, and how to choose or rethink your niche.
- How to know which offers to focus on to fit your income and energy needs, and what to do when they aren’t succeeding.
- Pricing that works for your heart and your wallet.
- Ways to get clients sooner than later and choosing what is the best fit for you right now.
- How to choose or revise your client attraction methods that will be easy and effective for you. No salesy mask required.
- Facilitating groups and workshops.
- What kind of business support do you need and how to let it in.
- Incorporating your caring values and impact goals into your work.
- Evaluating how it’s going and deciding when and how to make changes.
- Streamlining systems including what tools are worth the investment.
The SOULpreneurs meet twice a month, for 90 minutes each, with other opportunities to connect between meetings.
Regular meeting dates and times are subject to change during holidays or by unanimous consent among participants.
SOULpreneurs typically meet 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm Eastern time, on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays.
There are also co-working times to get things done, on Wednesdays at 10:30 am – 12:30 pm Eastern time. This also serves as my office hours for live questions and support.
People often describe the meetings as their place to pause and breathe, and find their calm footing and clarity of action steps.
It’s a peer connecting environment that I host and facilitate so that connection and learning is maximized.
I bring my heart-centered business expertise as part of it, and I also help to draw out the wisdom of the group.
I bring coaching and facilitation methods and tools that support a balance of being and doing. Nothing is forced. Everything is introvert-friendly and HSP-friendly, and inclusive. Everything is held in confidence.
The first meeting of the month is primarily focused on a topic discussion, and the second meeting of the month is primarily for your own topics.
I cannot say enough great things about the space that Val creates for her group members. She curates a group of like-minded heart-centered people and brings them on a journey to figure out how to achieve their goals. My time spent in the group has been incredible and I recommend it for anyone who wants to get their business flowing. I received such a great foundation from Val, her guidance, and her masterful facilitation.
~A.R., executive coach
This is a calendar-year cohort group, and thus new members begin together in January. Enrollment happens in the months leading up to that.
Enrollment is rolling until full, with a final deadline of Dec. 16th.
Questions welcome.
The group meets using Zoom, a video conference platform. You can be anywhere.
The “lone wolf” idea is a false and harmful notion. We are not built for self-sufficiency, no matter what the dominant culture tries to tell us.
We are built for understanding and restoring ourselves within community.
That is our true nature. Coming together “around the fire” for stories and connection is our heritage.
Over and over I’ve seen my clients come into groups and find the mental and soulful rest they need, as well as the renewed energy and clarity for next steps. It works, just as it has throughout human history.
Any Questions? Concerns? Feedback?
Use the form below to send me a note. I’ll get back to you shortly. Thank you.
