Highly Sensitive Extrovert Circle

Feel more aligned in life and work, just the way you are.

If you’re a Highly Sensitive Extrovert (HSE), you might feel like you don’t quite fit anywhere. You light up with people and connection, but sometimes find yourself caught between wanting to stay and needing to slip away, unsure how to manage both.

You might wonder: Does anyone else feel this way?

This small group for HSEs is a space where the answer is finally yes. Where your sensitivity isn’t a flaw, it’s a gift. Where your craving for connection and your need for retreat can both be honored without guilt, and without losing yourself in the process.

Together, we’ll explore how to live, work, and connect in ways that truly fit. You’re not a misfit. You’re made for more depth, more feeling, and more meaning. And now, you don’t have to figure it out alone, you get to do it alongside kindred spirits who get it.

The HSE group starts September 2025. Room for 6 max.
Includes 6 group sessions and 1 private session.

[While working with Val] I have come to recognize natural skills and innate qualities as strengths and assets I had previously overlooked. This has boosted my confidence to take on new challenges and opportunities.

Learning that I am a highly sensitive extrovert answered a lot of questions I had, and gave me insight into what I need to do to bring my best foot forward at work (and the rest of my life) – a good balance of together time and alone time. I have been able to move closer to that balance now that I have tools and techniques to understand myself better….

I was able to see how small adjustments could have a big impact on my workflow and interactions with colleagues, and ultimately increased my levels of satisfaction.”

~ S.L., HSP Extrovert, Project Manager

What we'll do in the Highly Sensitive Extrovert group:

  • Learn more about what it means to be an HSE and recognize what that’s like in you and others.
  • Connect and share stories, to feel less alone and more understood, with some laughs (good for the soul).
  • Name your gifts and how to use them.
  • Get fresh ideas from each other for navigating social situations, friendships, family, and partnerships.
  • Explore ways of aligning work and goals with who you are.
  • Develop balance with having a big heart while also having thoughtful boundaries.
  • Stop apologizing for your legitimate needs and find more confidence and joy in your way of being.
  • Choose actions that move all of the things we talk about more into your life.
  • Celebrate the wins.

Working with Val I gained so much more than career clarity. I know who I am, I know my values and strengths, and I’ve learned to trust my gut. I highly recommend Val. She is a true advocate and cheerleader for her clients.

Being part of one of Val’s small groups was especially powerful. She creates a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and safe to share. The topics she brought to the table sparked deep reflection, and the conversations that followed went far beyond surface-level. I really appreciated the way she facilitated with intention, making sure every voice was included and every insight was celebrated.

Is this group for you? Let's see about the fit:

This small group for sensitive extroverts is likely a fit if you relate to all of these:

  1. You relate to being a highly sensitive person and an extrovert. You might also relate to being a sensitive ambivert. Not sure? That’s normal and fine.
  2. You like the idea of having a community of kindred spirits who won’t judge you.
  3. You enjoy learning and growing.
  4. Work/life harmony is important to you.
  5. You embrace diversity and inclusion of all kinds and are committed to treating each other with respect and humility when you don’t understand someone else’s views or lived experience.
  6. You’re a woman, or you would feel at home in a women-centered space.
  7. You’re a good listener when others are speaking.

If you relate to all of those, I’d love to hear from you so we can discuss and decide together. Here’s how to start:

More details and price are found below.

I cannot say enough great things about the space that Val creates for her group members. Before joining Val’s group, I had been trying to go it alone, with a lot of effort and force. Now I have this web of support that’s built in, and it’s so incredibly helpful. Also, Val has made what has felt so hard for me in the past feel so much easier and enjoyable.

My Background for Leading this HSE Group

Val Nelson business coach for introverts and HSPs

Hi, I’m Val Nelson. I’ve been a self-employed career and business coach since 2009. I help HSPs (like me) who want to make a difference — in a way that fits our energy and our practical needs too.

I’ve learned how to have a life and livelihood that work for both my wallet and my energy needs. I love helping you find what works for you. I’ve found my work resonates deeply with HSP extroverts.

I recognize the gifts extroverted HSPs have to offer — like socializing ease and high empathy and caring. They’re wonderful to be around. I also understand the challenges. HSEs have unique needs that often go unaddressed

This small group for highly sensitive extroverts is designed to celebrate the gifts and bring more ease and alignment.

Much of my career has included leading groups in some form, and I’ve had formal training in group facilitation and adult learning. I’ve developed my facilitation and teaching skills into a core strength.
